Bridge City Global – What They Say vs. What They Do

Bridge City Global says it’s about community, healing, and free thought. But here’s what actually happens behind the scenes.

If you're thinking about joining, or already inside, take five minutes to learn what you're walking into.

1. The Mask of Openness

“We’re here for open dialogue and deconstruction.” – Darante LaMar

Reality: A 20-year-old Roman Catholic named Tobi politely tried to engage. He was banned. Meanwhile, anti-religious slurs like “F*** Rome and Catholicism” were allowed and up-voted.

2. Anger as Identity

“Your anger means you saw the truth.” – Darante LaMar

His videos encourage ex-believers to use anger as fuel. That can feel empowering. But it also makes people easier to manipulate – and harder to reason with.

Angry spaces often become authoritarian ones. Bridge City Global went from healing space to hive mind. Those who ask questions get othered, banned, or mocked.

3. Feedback Is Framed as Disruption

“I’m doing great work and I cannot come down.” – Darante

In one video, Darante compares criticism to distractions meant to tear him away from his work. He tells a biblical story – but in doing so, he equates feedback with sabotage.

Real-Life Analogy: If an engineer warns that a bridge may collapse in high winds, do you ignore them? Or do you check the math?

When you treat thoughtful feedback as a threat, you stop learning. That’s not leadership – it’s insecurity wrapped in spiritual language.
